Ground-Breaking Ceremony for NZ Post depot

Associate Minister for State-Owned Enterprises Shane Jones said that a new 'super depot' is to be built for NZ Post in Wellington. The construction of depot will generate around 350 assignments.

Posties and couriers are essential services that worked throughout the alert level 4 due to the high demand for e-commerce deliveries, said Shane Jones. He announced the investment of NZD 170 million while attending the ground-breaking ceremony.

The funding will increase its parcel-processing capacity from 95 million parcels today to 190 million parcels.
