Justice Minister Andrew Little has said that the government is allocating NZD 40 million to assist with the cost of mediation and arbitration for businesses and landlords to fix issues about adjusting rent during COVID-19.
He said that it is essential for businesses to find solutions as it will help NZ to recover from the economic impacts of the pandemic.
The funding shall help the tenants and landlords with the financial crunch to be able to reach dispute resolution services.
