Govt Supports Northland Innovation and Enterprise Park

Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones said that Provincial Growth Fund is funding up to NZD 19.5 million to support innovative primary sector businesses and build training and employment opportunities for the locals through developing an innovation and enterprise park at Ngawha.

The construction of the park is a crucial project for the region as it shall boost the economic development of the area.

At stage 1 of the development work, it is estimated to provide 250 new full-time jobs and 50 training roles annually, and these numbers are expected to grow further.
