Government Partners with Māori to Offer Whānau a New Housing Deal

 

NZ government has partnered with M?ori and iwi to resolve the growing housing crisis for wh?nau during the pandemic crisis. The government is investing NZD 40 million to provide wh?nau dry, warm and secure homes.

During the pandemic time, when people need to stay home to save lives, many wh?nau were living in overcrowded and insecure housing situations.

Further, the investment shall allow M?ori and iwi housing providers to generate housing solutions for wh?nau beyond the ongoing pandemic.
