Beef Cattle Numbers Increase with the Price Rise

As per Stats NZ, beef cattle numbers were up by 5 per cent to about 3.9 million in 2019 with an increase in beef prices and exports in NZ.

According to the final agricultural production survey, overall cattle numbers stood at 10.2 million in the year to June 2019 with a dip in dairy cattle numbers.

Agricultural production statistics manager, Stuart Pitts has cited that in the year 2019, beef cattle numbers increase was widespread.

Beef cattle numbers are increasing since 2016.
