Ara Ake’s Launch in New Plymouth to Boost Clean Energy

Ara Ake has been launched in New Plymouth by Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Energy Minister Megan Woods.

The Government-funded future Energy Development Centre, Ara Ake, would lead the development of new clean energy technologies that would aid in combating climate change; and work with numerous businesses to commercialise their innovations, creating jobs.

As per PM Jacinda Ardern, this timely launch would further support the kiwi nation in meeting the long-term challenge of transitioning to a net-zero carbon emissions nation by 2050.
