  • Li-FT Power acquires three lithium projects in Northwest Territories.
  • Acquisition includes DeStaffany, LDG, and Mackay lithium projects.
  • Projects feature high-grade lithium spodumene occurrences.

Li-FT Power (TSXV:LIFT) has finalized an agreement with North Arrow Minerals, securing a 100% interest in three lithium projects located in Canada’s Northwest Territories. These include the DeStaffany, LDG, and Mackay projects, known for their promising lithium spodumene occurrences. This agreement involves the issuance of 250,000 common shares of Li-FT Power to North Arrow Minerals.

Overview of the DeStaffany Project

The DeStaffany Project is notable for its significant lithium potential, featuring two prominent spodumene-bearing pegmatites, Moose 1 and Moose 2. Moose 1 has a strike length of 370 meters and a width reaching up to 11 meters, while Moose 2 spans 450 meters in length and up to 30 meters in width. Sampling results from these pegmatites indicate lithium oxide (Li2O) concentrations of up to 1.5% and 1.98%, underscoring the project's high-grade nature.

LDG Project: Strategic Location and Potential

Situated near the renowned Diavik diamond mine, the LDG Project covers 8,600 hectares of land. This site includes 10 spodumene pegmatite occurrences, presenting significant exploration potential. Its proximity to established mining infrastructure enhances its strategic value.

Mackay Project: High-Grade Lithium Discovery

The Mackay Project spans 8,661 hectares and includes two spodumene pegmatite occurrences. Sampling from these occurrences has revealed exceptionally high lithium oxide grades, with results reaching up to 5.25% Li2O. This high-grade potential positions the Mackay Project as a key asset in Li-FT Power’s expanding portfolio.

By acquiring these projects, Li-FT Power strengthens its position in the lithium sector, focusing on assets with notable spodumene occurrences and strong exploration potential. This development aligns with the growing demand for lithium in emerging energy technologies.
