Queensland premier Anastacia Palaszuk is soon to be Australia’s second highest paid premier. From September this year, the QLD premier and cabinet MP’s will receive 2% increase for their work. This increase will be followed by another in March 2022 of 2.25% come September 2022 their pay will take another hike up by 2.5%. Premier Palaszuk is expected to see her pay increase to $441,439 by September 2022, up from the current level at $399,955 which see’s her second to Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews.
