Blockchain ( Blockchain for beginners ) is a public, distributed ledger that is required for certain cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin’s transactions for making the transactions secure. In one way, Blockchain is essentially the record-keeping technology behind the Bitcoin network. Every node of Bitcoin’s software network, which is both the server and terminals, is run by individuals or groups that are popularly known as miners. Miners help in the production of new Bitcoin units that lead to the recording and authentication of Bitcoin transactions, and the making of new blocks periodically. These comprise an identical record of Bitcoin’s blockchain ( Blockchain explained ).
