Is sustainable energy technology a priority for Australia?

The Morrison Government is advancing its commitment to ultra low cost solar as a priority technology to help deliver lower emissions, lower energy costs and more jobs. The federal government is investing $40 million into research and development to lower the cost of producing power from solar panels. Australia is not just advancing in the sustainable energy space for the country but also going the extra mile to felicitate fuel for Palau. On Wednesday, Japanese trading house Sojitz Corp said it would conduct a demonstration project to produce green hydrogen in Australia and transport the fuel to Palau for use in small fuel cells as backup power sources and hydrogen fuel vessels.
