• Shares of Chinese multinational technology companies dropped - Alibaba shares dropped 6.97 per cent and Baidu shares dropped 5.54 per cent, while the Beijing-based ride-hailing firm DiDi Global shares traded flat. • Gold futures were down 0.26 per cent. Silver increased 0.06 per cent, while copper rose 4.35 per cent. Brent oil increased 0.71 per cent and WTI crude was up 0.17 per cent.

• Food Producer Cranswick shares grew by about 2.45 per cent. The Company reported a rise in the first quarter revenue boosted by robust retail business and strong poultry sales. 

• Budget airline Ryanair shares surged by around 4.32 per cent. The Company lifted the traffic forecast due to a significant increase in the bookings in recent weeks.
