Gold explorer Matador Mining Limited (ASX: MZZ) has announced that the ongoing drilling campaign continues to expand the mineralized footprint at the Cape Ray Gold Project in Newfoundland. The new assay results from the 10,000-metre drill program confirm that the recent Angus discovery is open in all directions. Matador Mining plans to prioritize greenfield discoveries while simultaneously progressing on extending the mineral resource at the known deposits.

The update comes to post the completion of a further 30,000m of infill and extensional drilling at Break of Day along with a re-interpretation of the mineralized lodes.
* King River Resources Updates On New HPA Testwork, Stock Up ~4% Australian explorer King River Resources Limited (ASX: KRR) has reported that it is completing new HPA testwork in parallel with the completion of the Speewah testwork and studies. Significantly, it uses the Company’s new HPA process route but is trialing on alternative aluminum chemical feedstocks. KRR completed metallurgical tests on a readily available aluminum chemical feedstock. Meanwhile, the testwork has established the likely production of a high purity HPA precursor with many fewer process steps than required on the Speewah feedstock.
