The pandemic resulted in a significant 11.5% increase in families without an employed person between June 2019 and June 2020. Notably, this is larger than the annual increases witnessed in the economic downturns of 1982 (9.9%) and 1992 (9%).

Of the 6.1 million couples in June 2020, 1.4% were same-sex couples, up from 0.6% since 2010

Coventry Group Ltd (ASX: CYG) reported group sales of $68.3 million for Q1FY21, up by 7.7% on PCP with minimal impact of coronavirus and government restrictions and NZ lockdown being the only exception. Some of the highlights included: Group’s sales for Fluid Systems segment rose by 12.7% on PCP in Q1FY21 led by strong value proposition, activity in key market sectors, and diversification into new markets.
