Advanced Braking Technology Ltd (ASX:ABV) has announced a strategic global distribution agreement with RaptorTech Pty Ltd, a company dedicated to providing advanced technology solutions across various industries. This partnership will focus on the distribution, marketing, and sales of BrakeiQ, a state-of-the-art auto braking system designed to integrate seamlessly with existing Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS).

Founded in 2018, RaptorTech aims to deliver cutting-edge technology that operates across a wide range of machines, ensuring interoperability and enabling operators to meet their business objectives. The collaboration with RaptorTech aligns with ABT's mission to enhance safety and efficiency in commercial vehicles.

BrakeiQ is engineered to meet ISO 21815-2 standards and EMESRT Level 9 intervention, ensuring its capability for smooth integration with various CAS technologies. Its adaptable design supports compatibility with more than 30 models of Caterpillar wheel loaders and dozers, as well as certain Komatsu models. Notably, while the system is instantly compatible with these brands, it can be developed and deployed for other global OEMs within just 2 to 4 weeks, showcasing its flexibility and market readiness.

Under the terms of the agreement, ABT has secured exclusive global distribution rights to BrakeiQ, empowering the company to promote, market, and sell the innovative braking system. The initial term of the agreement spans three years, with provisions for a potential three-year renewal based on mutual negotiations in the last three months of the initial period.

This partnership is expected to generate significant incremental revenue for ABT, with an initial purchase order from RaptorTech contributing approximately $1.1 million in revenue. The agreement incorporates customary performance KPIs based on volume and service metrics, with exclusivity reviewed biannually against these performance criteria. ABT intends to utilize its available cash reserves to fund this initial inventory purchase.

The collaboration is poised to enhance ABT's market share, allowing the company to tap into new and previously unserviced markets, particularly in the above-ground mining sector. The agreement will also enable ABT to expand into geographic regions that have not yet been explored.
