Highlights

  • Strong gold zones identified through new trenching at Cerro Verde

  • Sampling supports wider mineralisation at depth

  • Resource model update set to guide future development

Titan Minerals (ASX:TTM) has reported encouraging exploration results from its Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador. The recent activity has focused on the Cerro Verde prospect, a key area within the broader project that currently a significant portion of its known gold resource. Trenching and channel sampling in this region have delivered strong outcomes, particularly from zones with limited prior drilling.

The company’s current strategy aims to map the extent of mineralisation and identify areas with for near-surface extraction. This fresh round of results highlights broad, continuous mineralised zones that align well with previously drilled targets, further confirming the area's geological consistency.

New Trenching Unlocks Untested Zones

Cerro Verde’s latest exploration program has involved detailed trenching across several new target areas. These efforts have been instrumental in uncovering surface-level mineralisation, especially in regions where previous exploration was minimal. The combination of trench results with drill hole data is allowing a more detailed understanding of gold distribution along strike.

This integration between surface and subsurface data is playing a critical role in refining the mineralisation model. The trench results are especially valuable for confirming geological continuity, supporting stronger resource definition as the team moves toward a new mineral resource estimate.

Resource Model Update in Progress

With these latest findings, Titan Minerals (TTM) is now focused on updating its 3D mineralisation model. This updated model will guide the next steps in the project's development path and help define the for future open pit operations. Efforts are being directed at zones where previous drilling intersected mineralisation at depth, now supported by surface-level assay results.

The company is utilising this growing dataset to better understand how mineralised zones extend both laterally and vertically. This knowledge will influence the design of upcoming exploration programs and development planning.

Looking Ahead at Cerro Verde

As work progresses, the Dynasty Gold Project remains a central part of Titan’s exploration portfolio. The success of the Cerro Verde program is contributing to a clearer picture of the project's scope. With additional results expected, focus remains on delivering a robust update to the resource estimate and unlocking further growth across the broader concession area.
