Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) has initiated a 5,000-metre reverse circulation (RC) drilling program at the Remorse Copper Target, a key prospect within the company’s Yalgoo Project in Western Australia. This program is part of a broader strategy to uncover valuable base and precious metals across an extensive 1,000-square-kilometre project area.

The central area of the Remorse prospect is the focus of the current drilling campaign, chosen based on promising findings from previous geochemical and geophysical surveys. The collected data is anticipated to provide critical insights that will shape Tempest Minerals' future exploration plans for the region.

Ground truthing and detailed geological mapping have significantly contributed to the design of this drill program, following a thorough analysis of multiple data sources. These steps are part of the company’s methodical approach to exploration, which aims to minimize risk while maximizing the potential for discovery.

Tempest Minerals' managing director, Don Smith, emphasized the company's commitment to this strategic and data-driven approach, stating, "Despite some challenges, we have commenced drilling at Remorse. Our careful and systematic exploration has brought us to this point, and we are eager to test the potential of this promising copper target."

He further indicated that updates will be provided to stakeholders as the drilling results become available.

The Yalgoo Project remains a major focus for Tempest Minerals, with multiple targets identified as having the potential for significant mineralization. Depending on the outcomes of the current drilling program, the company plans to expand its exploration efforts and further advance its development plans across its West Australian portfolio.

This ongoing exploration at the Yalgoo Project aligns with the company's broader objective to discover and develop mineral resources in a region recognized for its geological potential. The current drilling campaign represents a strategic step toward achieving that objective, demonstrating Tempest Minerals' commitment to unlocking value from its projects through a disciplined and evidence-based approach to exploration.
