MLG Oz (ASX:MLG) has confirmed the commencement of a new crushing and screening services contract with New Murchison Gold (ASX:NMG) at the Crown Prince Project in Western Australia. Though MLG does not form part of the ASX 200 stocks, the move signals ongoing activity in the resources and mining services space, particularly across Western Australia’s gold mining corridor.
The agreement spans 30 months and includes an additional month-by-month extension clause, offering flexibility for further collaboration. Services will focus on MLG’s deployment of a mobile crushing unit equipped with an integrated automated sampling system, adding operational precision at the site.
Crown Prince is situated within New Murchison’s Garden Gully Project area, which lies northwest of Meekatharra. This zone hosts several gold prospects, with Crown Prince considered one of the more advanced assets under development in the region.
The partnership reflects a broader strategy by MLG Oz to extend its footprint in the gold and iron ore segments. The company continues to scale its service offerings and contract base, targeting projects that support ore processing and material handling for mid-tier and emerging producers.
Operations are expected to begin in August 2025. MLG will manage all aspects of the equipment’s function and maintenance throughout the contract. This hands-on approach is consistent with the company’s model of integrated mining services, which has become a key differentiator in its engagements across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
The agreement with New Murchison follows recent project wins and service expansions, highlighting ongoing momentum in MLG’s contract pipeline. The inclusion of Crown Prince in the client portfolio may also broaden MLG’s exposure to strategic mineral assets and development-stage operations.
New Murchison’s Garden Gully tenure covers a significant portion of the Abbotts Greenstone Belt, known for its gold-bearing structures. The deal provides both parties with operational and technical synergies to progress the site toward higher output levels.
MLG Oz continues to build relevance in Australia’s mining services space by focusing on execution capability and strengthening its position as a dependable service provider for gold and base metals projects across remote mining regions.
