Mr Justin Mannolini - Non-Executive Chairman
In September 2013, Mr Justin Mannolini joined as a Non-Executive Director and was later appointed as the Chairman of Jindalee Resources in July 2016. Currently, he is also a partner in the Corporate Advisory Group of Gilbert + Tobin, which is an Australian law firm.
He has a combined degree in Law and Commerce (B.Com/LL (Hons)) from the University of Western Australia and LLM or Master of Laws degree from the University of Cambridge (Queens College).
As an investment banker and a lawyer, Mr Mannolini holds over 20 years of rich experience in corporate finance varying across product lines and industry sectors. His experience encompasses M&A transactions and general strategic advisory mandates for firms operating in the resources sector.
Previous Experience
- From March 2013 to May 2016, Mr Mannolini was an Executive Director with the investment banking division of the Macquarie Group, Macquarie Capital. He was accountable for cross-industry coverage of the Western Australian market.
- Before joining Macquarie, he was the head and Managing Director of Gresham Advisory Partners’ Perth office. Prior to that, he served as a partner in the M&A group of Freehills, an Australian law firm.
- In May 2016, he joined the board of the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility, which is the government’s $5 billion fund set up to encourage economic development and population growth in northern Australia.
Ms Trish Farr - Executive Director/Joint Company Secretary
Ms Trish Farr is an experienced Chartered Secretary, who was appointed to the Company’s board in 2008. She is a graduate member of the AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors) and a fellow member of the ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators) and the Governance Institute of Australia.
Ms Farr possesses more than 20 years of extensive experience in the mining and exploration industry in the areas of compliance, corporate governance and administration.
Previous Experience
- Ms Farr has delivered company secretarial services to multiple ASX-listed companies in the past, including Musgrave Minerals Limited (ASX:MGV) and before that Fox Resources Limited (ASX:FXR) and Energy Metals Limited (ASX:EME).
Mr Lindsay Dudfield – Executive Director
Mr Lindsay Dudfield is a qualified geologist and the Founding Director of Jindalee. He has been the Company’s Director for the last sixteen years. He is a member of the AusIMM (Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy), SEG (Society of Economic Geologists), AIG (Australian Institute of Geoscientists) and GSA (Geological Society of Australia).
Currently, he is also serving as a Non-executive Director of Alchemy Resources Limited (ASX:ALY) and Energy Metals Limited (ASX:EME).
Mr Dudfield holds more than 40 years of rich experience in exploring for base metals and gold in Australia and overseas, comprising close involvement with several Greenfields discoveries.
Previous Experience
- Mr Dudfield has previously held senior-level positions with the mineral divisions of Amoco from 1977 to 1979 and Exxon from 1980 to 1987. Moreover, he was closely engaged with the delineation of the Scuddles Zn-Cu mine at WA’s Golden Grove.
- He became a Founding Director of Dalrymple Resources NL in 1987, where he spent the subsequent eight years in helping procure and explore Dalrymple’s properties, resulting in numerous Greenfields discoveries.
- He joined the Board of Jindalee’s predecessor, Horizon Mining NL in late 1994 and has been accountable for managing Jindalee since foundation.
Mrs Karen Wellman – Recently Appointed Chief Executive Officer
Recently, Jindalee has appointed Mrs Karen Wellman as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company, effective 12th October 2020. Mrs Wellman is a geologist and a member of AusIMM.
She holds about 20 years of broad experience encompassing all aspects of the mining cycle, including production, early-stage exploration, mine geology, resource definition and resource estimation on multiple ore deposits and commodities comprising zinc, nickel, gold, copper, lead and silver.
Mrs Wellman made considerable contribution to the success of the Deflector Gold-Copper Project in WA, in her most recent role as Resource Development Manager for Silver Lake Resources (ASX:SLR).
Previous Experience
- She has previously worked as a Senior Resource Geologist for Boliden Minerals AB in Sweden and a Consultant for Optiro.
- She has also held numerous roles at St Ives Gold Mine with Goldfields Australia.
