Leadership Strengthening to Support Growth

Many Peaks Minerals (ASX:MPK) has taken a significant step to strengthen its leadership team by appointing Matthew Scully as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director. While not part of the ASX 200, the company continues to position itself with strong technical and operational leadership to advance its strategic projects across West Africa.

Experience That Adds Value

Scully’s professional journey spans across leading resource companies, where he has gained deep experience in feasibility studies, project development, and operational execution. His past roles at West African Resources (ASX:WAF), Perseus Mining (ASX:PRU), and Evolution Mining (ASX:EVN) have equipped him with valuable expertise to oversee the advancement of Many Peaks’ portfolio.

At West African Resources, he played a crucial role in advancing development projects in Burkina Faso. At Perseus Mining, his leadership supported the growth of gold projects in Côte d’Ivoire, while his tenure at Evolution Mining further refined his capabilities in project management and development.

Focus on the Ferké Gold Project

The Ferké Gold Project, situated in Côte d’Ivoire, is a key focus area for Many Peaks Minerals. The project is strategically located on the eastern margin of the Daloa greenstone belt, intersecting significant regional shear zones. With its potential scale and positioning, the project forms a cornerstone in the company’s growth pathway.

Scully’s addition is expected to bring enhanced direction in shaping project strategies, ensuring the company can advance exploration and development initiatives effectively.

Looking Ahead

With its strengthened leadership and a clear focus on its gold and copper projects in West Africa, Many Peaks Minerals continues to build a strong foundation for future growth. The company’s strategy reflects its ambition to create long-term value through disciplined exploration, operational expertise, and project advancement.
