Highlights

  • iTech Minerals Ltd has identified a 26-kilometre mineral horizon at the Reynolds Range project, enhancing its copper-gold-silver prospectivity.
  • Recent fieldwork indicates the potential for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization, bolstered by high-grade sampling results.
  • An upcoming drilling campaign aims to explore the most promising targets at the site.

iTech Minerals Ltd (ASX:ITM) has made significant strides in enhancing the mineral prospectivity at its Reynolds Range copper-gold project located in the Northern Territory. The identification of a 26-kilometre-long horizon within the Lander Rock Formation marks an exciting development for this ASX mining stock.

Fieldwork and Discoveries

Recent fieldwork, which included mapping and sampling, has yielded essential insights into the geological structure of the horizon. This area lies above a regionally extensive magnetic complex featuring conformable mafic rocks. Notably, the results have shown a correlation with rock chip samples from the Scimitar and Reward prospects, revealing rich deposits of copper, gold, silver, and lead mineralization.

Promising Sampling Results

The high-grade sampling results from the Reward copper-gold prospect are particularly noteworthy. Recent assays have indicated impressive mineral values, including 19.5% copper, 3.15 grams per tonne of gold, and 2,090.0 grams per tonne of silver. Additional results show 19.6% copper with 12.2 grams per tonne of gold, alongside other high-grade values.

Future Exploration Plans

Mike Schwarz, Managing Director of iTech Minerals, emphasized the significance of ongoing fieldwork in shaping a model for regional polymetallic mineralization across the Reynolds Range. The convergence of a substantial magnetic complex, high-grade mineralization in rock chips, and significant electromagnetic anomalies points to a compelling exploration target for volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization.

An imminent drilling campaign is planned to test the most promising target at Scimitar, which holds great potential for further discoveries. As iTech Minerals Ltd continues to progress its exploration initiatives, the outlook for the Reynolds Range project remains highly optimistic.
