Aruma Resources Ltd (ASX:AAJ) has recently unveiled significant findings from its Fiery Creek Copper Project in Queensland, with impressive results from the Piper prospect. The project has yielded high-grade copper intercepts, showcasing grades exceeding 11%.
High-Grade Mineral Intercepts
Initial surface sampling over a 600-metre strike at the Piper prospect revealed notable copper grades: 11.83%, 11.53%, 9.95%, and 9.53%. Additionally, antimony concentrations were recorded at 10,883 parts per million (ppm), 2,305 ppm, and 2,035 ppm. High-grade silver assays were also detected, reaching up to 31.3 grams per tonne.
Extensive Mineralization Across the Project
Soil sampling data has demonstrated strong copper anomalism across the Fiery Creek project area, extending beyond the Piper and Fiery Creek targets. Historical results have also shown high-grade copper rock chip samples, with notable values of 36%, 25.4%, and 15.2% copper, further reinforcing the project's potential.
Upcoming Exploration Plans
Aruma Resources is set to conduct detailed ground gravity surveys within the month to refine drill targets. This will be followed by an Induced Polarisation (IP) survey at the Piper prospect in October. The aim is to gain a deeper understanding of the mineralization and enhance the targeting for future exploration activities.
Strategic Next Steps
With the promising early-stage results and historical data, Aruma Resources is positioning itself for the next phase of exploration. Ground-based geophysical surveys are scheduled to commence soon, focusing on defining targets for an inaugural drilling program. This exploration strategy is expected to advance the understanding of the Fiery Creek Project's potential and pave the way for subsequent developments.
