Kelsian Group (ASX:KLS), a major player in public transport and tourism across multiple countries, has revealed a significant leadership change. Clint Feuerherdt, the current Managing Director and Group CEO, will step down from his role on 1 April 2025, after more than 15 years of dedicated service. Feuerherdt will transition into a strategic adviser role for an initial period of 12 months, ensuring a smooth leadership handover.
Feuerherdt has been instrumental in Kelsian's remarkable growth, leading the company from its Australian roots to its current status as a $2bn multinational operator. Under his leadership, Kelsian expanded its fleet to include more than 5,500 buses, 115 vessels, and 24 light rail vehicles, operating in Australia, Singapore, the United States, and the Channel Islands. His tenure saw the company evolve into one of the most significant players in the global transport and tourism industries.
Following Feuerherdt’s transition, Graeme Legh, who currently serves as CEO of Kelsian's US division, All Aboard America! Holdings Inc (AAAHI), will take over as the Group CEO of Kelsian. Legh, who joined the company in 2009, has played a key role in driving the company's growth, particularly through strategic acquisitions that have expanded Kelsian’s operations across multiple international markets. Legh’s leadership experience and deep understanding of Kelsian’s operations make him well-suited to continue the company’s global expansion.
The company has also announced that a search will begin for a new CEO to lead All Aboard America! Holdings Inc (AAAHI). As part of the leadership reshuffle, Kelsian’s Chairman, Fiona Hele, expressed her appreciation for Clint Feuerherdt's impactful leadership and his role in shaping the company into a global operator. She also expressed confidence in Graeme Legh’s ability to maintain Kelsian's momentum and guide the company through its next phase of growth.
This leadership transition comes at a time when Kelsian continues to build on its global presence, with its operations spanning across several key international markets. The company's commitment to expanding its transport and tourism services globally will remain a key focus as it navigates the leadership change.
