Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) has strengthened its footprint in the U.S. healthcare sector with a significant $40 million agreement. The Australian-based health imaging technology provider has entered into a seven-year contract with LucidHealth, a U.S. radiology services network that operates across 140 care sites. This partnership will see the deployment of Pro Medicus’ advanced Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform throughout LucidHealth’s facilities.

The deal was secured through Pro Medicus' wholly owned U.S. subsidiary, Visage Imaging, and is expected to enhance efficiency in medical imaging across LucidHealth’s network. The rollout of the Visage 7 system is set to begin immediately, with the phased implementation expected to commence late in the third quarter and continue into the fourth quarter of the year.

Expanding Medical Imaging Capabilities

This latest contract highlights the growing demand for cutting-edge imaging solutions in the healthcare industry. Visage 7, Pro Medicus' flagship product, is known for its speed and scalability, making it a preferred choice for hospitals, imaging centers, and healthcare providers worldwide. The platform offers a cloud-based, enterprise-grade solution designed for both public and private cloud environments, enabling seamless integration with existing healthcare systems.

Since acquiring Visage Imaging in 2009, Pro Medicus (ASX:PME) has focused on expanding its presence in international markets. The company’s emphasis on innovation and cloud-based solutions has contributed to its increasing adoption by healthcare providers looking to modernize their imaging infrastructure.

Strategic Growth in the U.S. Market

The agreement with LucidHealth aligns with Pro Medicus’ long-term strategy of expanding its footprint in the U.S. radiology market. The demand for efficient, high-quality imaging solutions continues to rise, and cloud-based platforms like Visage 7 are playing a pivotal role in modernizing medical imaging workflows.

With a structured implementation plan in place, the collaboration between Pro Medicus and LucidHealth is set to improve imaging efficiency, reduce turnaround times, and enhance patient care. As the phased rollout begins, this partnership marks another milestone in Pro Medicus’ growing influence in the global healthcare technology landscape.
