4DMedical Ltd (ASX:4DX) has entered into a commercial agreement with Qscan Radiology Clinics, a leading diagnostic imaging services provider based in Queensland. This collaboration follows a successful pilot program and represents the first commercial contract in Australia to incorporate 4DMedical’s Pulmonary Function and Pulmonary Structure suites.

The agreement will introduce advanced respiratory imaging solutions, including the Computed Tomography Lung Ventilation Analysis Software (CT LVAS), which provides detailed functional lung health assessments through CT scans. This technology enables clinicians to gain deeper insights into lung ventilation, aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of respiratory conditions.

Qscan Radiology Clinics, known for its extensive network of 40 clinics across Queensland, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania, and Western Australia, will implement 4DMedical’s respiratory imaging solutions in selected Brisbane locations. This rollout is expected to enhance patient access to advanced lung health diagnostics, contributing to improved clinical outcomes.

The commercial agreement with Qscan represents a significant milestone for 4DMedical in its efforts to expand market penetration within Australia. The deployment of the Pulmonary Function and Pulmonary Structure suites is set to offer healthcare providers enhanced diagnostic capabilities, supporting the delivery of precise and actionable insights into respiratory health.

Andreas Fouras, founder, managing director, and CEO of 4DMedical, highlighted the importance of this commercial milestone, emphasizing the potential impact on patient care. The agreement with Qscan aligns with 4DMedical’s broader strategic goal of expanding its footprint across both the Australian and US markets. The introduction of these innovative solutions is expected to empower healthcare professionals with advanced tools to assess lung function and structure more effectively.

Momentum surrounding the commercialization of 4DMedical’s technology continues to build, reflecting growing recognition of its capabilities in respiratory diagnostics. The partnership with Qscan further solidifies the company’s position in the healthcare industry, offering cutting-edge solutions that address critical needs in lung health assessment.

With the implementation of 4DMedical's solutions across multiple Qscan locations, more patients are anticipated to benefit from improved diagnostic accuracy and early detection of respiratory conditions. The collaboration underscores the increasing demand for non-invasive, highly detailed lung imaging solutions that support better healthcare decision-making.

This strategic partnership not only expands 4DMedical’s presence in the Australian market but also reinforces its commitment to driving innovation in medical imaging. As the adoption of these technologies progresses, further opportunities for collaboration and integration with additional healthcare providers are expected to emerge, further enhancing the availability and accessibility of advanced respiratory diagnostics.
