- The joint financial advisors shall help towards the development of the Kachi Project by focusing on Export Credit Agencies.
Lake Resources N.L. (ASX:LKE) has been working closely with various partners to obtain high-purity lithium from its Kachi Lithium Brine Project, which helps in attracting premium pricing. These partners are assisting LKE in various stages of production, testing, and comparison of LKE’s product with the commercially available product from Tier 1 producers.
Lately, LKE achieved another milestone for the Kachi Project and the Company as a whole, by engaging with new financial advisors to the project. Under this event, SD Capital Advisory Limited and GKB Ventures Limited have been appointed the joint financial advisors for LKE’s Kachi Project.
The decision comes with an aim to advance the Kachi Lithium Brine Project through structuring and arrangement of project funds, with an emphasis on Export Credit Agencies (ECA’s).
London-based independent financial boutique, SD Capital Advisory Limited, emphasises on capturing project funding for businesses and mining/resources corporations in established and pre-emerging markets.
Strategic business advisory, financial modelling, and credit analysis, are some of the specialisations of SD Capital, along with a team of experienced finance professionals, which has experience from key transnational, banking, and developing markets.
Another financial advisor to the Kachi project is GKB Ventures Limited, which is an autonomous consultancy that assists clients in obtaining international transactions and access international finance by way of ECAs. With a track record of generating knowledge and access to government-assisted schemes, GKB is presently appointed on more than US$4 billion of structured ECA financings and has successfully finalised several projects in the past five years.
All in all, LKE looks to advance its Kachi Project, and this calls for financial preparedness as well. The Company has already received positive results from initial testing by Novonix, and LKE plans to undertake large-scale tests using batch-scale synthesis.
