Beam Communications Holdings Ltd (ASX:BCC), the only ASX-listed developer of mobile satellite equipment, has received additional orders from its joint venture (JV) entity for 12,000 ZOLEO devices.
This is the second order from the JV entity in less than a month. Last month in September, Beam had secured purchase orders for 6,500 ZOLEO devices.
The Australian publicly listed company is fulfilling the global needs of the Information Communication & Technology markets by supplying its innovative products and services to some of the world’s largest satellite and telecommunications companies. Its client base includes Iridium Communications Inc (NASDAQ: IRDM), Telstra Corporation Limited (ASX:TLS), KDDI Corporation, Inmarsat, and Thuraya.

The delivery of the initial part of the order, which is for 9,000 units, will take place in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2022 (4QFY2022). The remaining units will be shipped and invoiced in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2023 (1QFY2023).
Since the launch, 115,225 ZOLEO devices have been ordered from Beam Communications.
