  • Focus remains on potential copper cash flow from Horseshoe Lights Project in Western Australia.

Horseshoe Metals, listed on the ASX under the ticker (ASX:HOR), has successfully secured a Native Title Mining Agreement for its Glenloth Gold Project in South Australia. This agreement with the Gawler Ranges Aboriginal Corporation provides expanded access over the renewed lease area, paving the way for potential development.

A strategic review is currently underway for the Old Well target area, which stretches along the strike from Barton Gold’s significant 1.5Moz Tunkillia Project. Historic geochemical sampling has indicated an extension of a promising calcrete gold anomaly. Past drilling efforts revealed noteworthy gold mineralization, which prompts Horseshoe Metals to reassess these findings with an eye on future drilling and sampling.

Although Glenloth had experienced a period of dormancy due to a lower demand for gold, the current strategic review aims to chart a path towards the commercial viability of the project. Horseshoe Metals plans a comprehensive site assessment, including drill access evaluations, geological sampling, and the creation of a detailed mineralization model, all in preparation for RC drill testing.

In parallel, Horseshoe Metals remains focused on its copper assets at the Horseshoe Lights Project in Western Australia, a region developing its reputation beyond gold. The project is strategically located, with plans underway to commence sales from existing high-grade copper-gold stockpiles and explore new targets in proximity to Sandfire Resources’ DeGrussa copper mine.

Western Australia, traditionally recognized for its gold, is witnessing a burgeoning interest in its copper potential. Large-scale operations like Rio Tinto and Sumitomo's Winu project are contributing to this narrative. Horseshoe Metals stands poised to capitalize on this emerging trend with its increased acreage, now spanning from 54km² to 340km², and concurrent exploration initiatives.
