S&P/ASX200 Ended in Green; Energy Sector Down by 1.21%

At the close of trading session on 28th October 2020, the equity market of Australia closed in green as the benchmark index S&P/ASX200 rose by 6.70 points to 6057.70. This was supported by gain of 1.81% and 1.78% in Academic & Educational Services and Consumer Non-Cyclicals sectors, respectively.

Movements on the Wall Street: On October 27, 2020, Dow Jones Industrial Average witnessed a decline of 0.80% to 27,463.19. However, NASDAQ Composite increased 0.64% to 11,431.35.

Top Gainers and Losers: Blackmores Limited (ASX: BKL) and PolyNovo Limited (ASX: PNV) witnessed a rise of 13.66% and 8.73%, respectively. On the other hand, Adbri Limited (ASX: ABC) fell by 5.54%.
