North Stawell Minerals Ltd (ASX:NSM), an Australian gold exploration company listed on the All Ordinaries, has announced the appointment of Steve Boston as a senior advisor to its board. The move comes as the company continues to develop its portfolio across Victoria's mineral-rich Stawell Corridor.

Boston’s appointment became effective from early July, reinforcing the company’s commitment to strategic leadership during a critical phase of its exploration and development activities.

Boston Brings Extensive Experience in Resources and Capital Markets

With a career spanning over three decades in Australia’s resource and finance sectors, Boston steps into his new role following extensive stints in executive and advisory capacities. Notably, he served as non-executive Chairman of Catalyst Metals Ltd (ASX:CYL), where he contributed to the company’s recapitalisation efforts and played a pivotal role in securing key gold discoveries and strategic partnerships.

Before joining North Stawell Minerals, Boston held senior responsibilities at a private investment firm operating under an Australian Financial Services Licence. His experience also extends to stockbroking, where he built a network across institutional and retail segments focused on resources.

North Stawell Aims to Unlock Exploration Value in Victoria

North Stawell Minerals maintains an active presence in one of Victoria’s most prospective gold belts. Its exploration footprint along the Stawell Mineralised Corridor positions the company to pursue resource discovery and long-term value creation.

Chief Executive Officer Campbell Olsen welcomed Boston’s addition to the leadership team, highlighting alignment between Boston’s financial acumen and the company’s objectives. The CEO underscored that Boston’s past achievements, particularly his track record of building shareholder value and attracting strategic collaborators, would complement the company’s exploration efforts.

Focus on Strategic Direction and Capability Building

Boston’s appointment arrives at a time when junior explorers across the Australian mining landscape continue to refine operational strategies and expand their technical capabilities. North Stawell Minerals’ current focus includes unlocking new discoveries through a data-driven and geologically targeted approach.

The company has stated that this board enhancement supports its broader mission to drive innovation while remaining grounded in disciplined project execution. With the board now including seasoned expertise in both resource development and capital management, North Stawell Minerals is positioned to strengthen its role within the regional exploration ecosystem.
