Highlights

  • Gold and gallium anomalies targeted at Saltwater’s Terceira prospect
  • New drilling and soil sampling programs underway for refined exploration
  • Saltwater Project spans 465km² near Newman in Western Australia

Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) is gearing up for the next stage of its exploration activities at the Saltwater Project in Western Australia, focusing on promising gold and gallium surface anomalies at the Terceira prospect. This follows the anticipated green light on the heritage survey, expected to be approved by June, allowing the company to commence a reverse circulation drilling program covering 1,500 meters.

The Terceira prospect is notable for its geochemical gold anomaly, stretching roughly 300 meters in length and 60 meters in width. Alongside this, an extensive gallium and arsenic anomaly spans around 800 meters by 120 meters, highlighting the potential for valuable mineral discoveries. These findings were initially reported earlier this year and have set the stage for more detailed exploration.

In parallel, Aruma Resources is refining exploration targets at the Spinifex Dome and Trinity Dome areas. Historical aeromagnetic data is currently being reprocessed under the guidance of Southern Geoscience Consultants, aiming to enhance the understanding of subsurface mineralization and guide future drilling decisions.

At the Talmine prospect within the Saltwater Project, an infill and expansion soil sampling campaign is planned, involving approximately 200 samples across 1.72 square kilometers. This program builds on previous sampling results that returned impressive gallium oxide grades exceeding 24 grams per tonne, including a peak value of 136.05g/t from sample AR14023.

The Saltwater Project itself is strategically located about 120 kilometers southwest of Newman, a key mining hub in Western Australia. Covering a substantial area of 465 square kilometers, it forms a vital part of Aruma’s portfolio, which prioritizes gold and lithium exploration and development in the region.

With the ASX market showing increased interest in resource exploration, especially among ASX dividend stocks and companies contributing to the ASX200 index, Aruma Resources’ progressive exploration programs add to its potential appeal in the sector.

The upcoming drilling and sampling efforts at Saltwater are set to provide valuable insights into the project’s mineral potential, reinforcing Aruma Resources’ position as an emerging player in Western Australia’s resource landscape.
