Deloitte Australia has announced the appointment of Joanne Gorton as the new CEO, effective February 1. Gorton will succeed Adam Powick, who has led the company since 2021. Joanne Gorton, who has been serving as the Managing Partner of Audit and Assurance at Deloitte Australia since 2020, brings an impressive track record of over 20 years in the industry. Gorton’s expertise also extends beyond traditional auditing, having provided valuable advisory services, including internal audit, risk management, compliance, and accounting guidance on complex transactions.
