Backed by News Limited, tradies booking service Hipages (ASX:HPG) went live on the ASX on 12 November 2020.
The company was launched at $2.45 per share for a market capitalisation of $318.5 million.
Hipages does the work of linking house owners and tradies through an application.
More than $100 million was raised via the IPO.
Roby Sharon-Zipser, CEO and co-founder of the company shared that hipages had a robust start to the new financial year as people continued to shift online and as the present environment has triggered requirement for home bettering services. He also said that the company is benefitting too as the job numbers are rising because both tradies and consumers recognise the worth of the company’s model.
Meanwhile, the share price of the newest stock on the block closed at $2.46.
