From the midnight of 18 November 2020, all except the essential businesses will shut down in South Australia. Government has asked people to remain inside for six days as there are going to be wide-range restrictions in order to curb an outbreak of COVID-19.
State health officials have declared that masks must be worn when leaving the house; however, they have encouraged everyone to stay at home.
As per the authorities, only one person per household shall be allowed to leave the house per day to shop only for essentials like groceries.
Schools, universities, restaurants, pubs, cafes and coffee shops shall remain closed.
Wedding and funeral functions will not take place and outdoor sports are banned too.
Essential services such as supermarkets, medical and mental health services, petrol stations, post offices and banks shall be allowed to remain open and operate in these six days.
