On Wednesday, the Australian stock market surged by 1.72 per cent after gaining 109.20 points. The benchmark index S&P/ASX200 settled at 6449.70 points as compared to yesterday's closure of 6340.50 points.

The trending stocks for Wednesday were - RXP Services Limited (ASX: RXP), archTIS Limited (ASX: AR9), Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA), Crowd Media Holdings Limited (ASX: CM8), 88 Energy Limited (ASX: 88E), and Saturn Metals Limited (ASX: STN).

On 10 November 2020, Wall Street had a mixed trading session with Nasdaq Composite, dipped by 1.37 per cent, Dow Industrials surged by 0.90 per cent, S&P 500 declined by 0.14 per cent.

The commodity section on Wednesday (11 November 2020) at AEDT 06:23 PM, the crude oil surged by 2.35 per cent and was trading at USD 42.33 a barrel. The gold commodity slightly surged by 0.76 per cent and was trading at USD 1872.46.

  • Whitehaven Coal Limited (ASX:WHCwas the second-top gainer of the day. It closed at AUD 1.225 and was up by 8.888 per cent. 

The stocks that dipped the most during Wednesday (11 November 2020) are:  

  • Ramelius Resources Limited (ASX:RMSclosed at AUD 1.920 and was dipped by 5.419 per cent. 
  • JB Hi-Fi Limited (ASX:JBH)  closed at AUD 44.420 and declined by 4.391 per cent.
