The uptrend pattern continues from yesterday, today the benchmark index S&P/ASX200 climbed up by 1.93 per cent. It gained 115.10 points while settling at 6066.40 as compared to previous day's closure at 5951.30 points. The trending stocks for Tuesday were - Senex Energy Limited (ASX: SXY), Beach Energy Limited (ASX:BPT), and AMP Limited (ASX:AMP).

On 02 November 2020, in the US stock market, the Nasdaq Composite was up by 0.42 per cent, Dow Industrials increased by 1.60 per cent, and S&P 500 climbed by 1.23 per cent. 

The commodity section on Tuesday (03 November 2020) at AEDT 05:54 PM, the crude oil slightly increased by 0.16 per cent and was trading at USD 36.73 a barrel. The gold commodity minimally fell by 0.1 per cent and was trading at USD 1,893.36. 

The Australian dollar continued flat and was trading at AUD 0.7048 and bitcoin declined by 2.32 and was trading at AUD 19,141.7.

The stocks that surged the maximum during Tuesday (03 November 2020) are:  

  • Webjet Limited (ASX: WEBgained the most point today. It closed at AUD 3.770 and was up by 8.645 per cent. 
  • Pendal Group Limited (ASX:PDLwas at the second-top position. It closed at AUD 6.890 and was up by 7.656 per cent. 

The stocks that dipped the most during Tuesday (03 November 2020) trading session are:  

  • Sandfire Resources Ltd (ASX:SFR)  closed at AUD 4.130 and was dipped by 6.982 per cent. 
  • Treasury Wine Estates Limited (ASX:TWEclosed at AUD 8.950 and declined by 3.139 per cent.
