Lithium Australia NL's (ASX: LIT subsidiary Envirostream Australia Pty Ltd, an onshore mixed-battery recycling company received funding from Sustainability Victoria.

Sustainability Victoria, under Round 2 of its E-Waste Infrastructure Grants has confirmed its support for Envirostream's 'Electrolyte Management in Rechargeable Battery Recycling' project and allocated AUD 201,399 of funding to Envirostream for that project.

Round 2 of the E-Waste Infrastructure Grants prioritises e-waste reprocessing capability and capacity, and the collection and storage of e-waste, via an investment in fixed, semi-permanent e-waste infrastructure upgrades and alternate non-fixed collection and storage solutions.

On 30 October 2020, at AEST:3:02 PM, LIT was trading at AUD 0.052, up by 6.122 per cent.
