Elders Ltd (ASX:ELD) continued its bullish streak and announced a final 13c dividend in a report declaration made on 16 November 2020.
Despite the challenging situations like drought, bushfires and COVID-19, the Australian agribusiness giant Elders registered around 80% profits worth $123 million between 2019 and 2020 September.
The South Australia-based company will be paying a full 13 cents per share dividend. This would make the total dividends paid for the year to 22 cents. The underlying profit after tax was reported to be $109 million.
The company sustained throughout the COVID-19 times and even went on to increase the workforce.
For 2021, the managing director and CEO Mark Allison said that summer plantings are anticipated to rise and also demand for crop protection and fertilisers is likely to bounce back.
Meanwhile, the stock traded at $11.700 at 1:32 PM AEDT.
