CSR Limited (ASX:CSR) has declared a blended HY20 result to investors and shareholders on 2 November 2020.
The construction materials giant with brands like Gyprock and Bradford to its credit, CSR reported that its trading revenue fell by 6% to reach $1.075 billion. EBITDA dipped by 12% to reach $143.1 million and group EBIT fell by 17% to $94.4 million.
But as far as its divisions are concerned, a mixed performance was registered. Building product EBIT rose to $96.3 million, aluminium EBIT dropped by 76% to $6.2 million, property division garnered EBIT of $1.7 million whereas, corporate expenses at the EBIT level were $9.8 million.
The underlying net profit fell 7% to $66.4 million and statuary profit fell by 15% to reach $58.7 million.
Meanwhile, CSR traded at $4.685 with a market capitalisation of 2.14 billion.
