China's Economy Is Back On Track 

Based on its latest gross domestic product (GDP) data, China is now leading the charge for a global recovery. Between July and September 2020, the world's second-largest economy saw a growth of 4.9%, still lower than economist’s expectation of 5.2%.

During the onset of the pandemic, when China saw nationwide shutdowns of factories and manufacturing plants, the country's economy shrank by 6.8%. It was the most significant contraction since China started recording quarterly figures back in 1992.
