The trans-national borders in Australia would stay shut for some more time, the government confirmed on Wednesday and the same day, Qantas Airways Limited (ASX:QAN) announced that it would be reviving its ‘mystery flights’ for a limited period.
This follows the massive success of the airline’s attractive ‘flight to nowhere’ that made headlines after selling out in mere ten minutes in September last year.
The Company had offered the mystery flights in the 1990s as well.
A statement from Qantas said that the 2021 version would come with a twist. The Company further explained that a person books a flight without knowing the destination and ends up on a surprise adventure day outing joined by 120 others.
The tickets for the same will be available Thursday onwards, the Company informed.
Meanwhile, the stock was spotted trading at A$4.990, with market capitalisation at A$9.61 billion at 11:24 AM AEDT.
