A malware and phishing deterrence startup, Menlo Security Inc. has raised $100 million in a round of funding led by Vista Equity Partners along with the help from Neuberger Berman, General Catalyst, JP Morgan and many other anonymous investors.
Menlo Security is responsible for providing a secure and safe gateway that protects workers users from internet-borne threats, malicious websites being one of them.
Amir Ben-Efraim, the CEO and co-founder of the company shared that despite of the fact that the platform has expanded in last few years, the company mainly concentrates on internet and email as crucial attack carriers for customers.
Meanwhile, the company’s new $100 million round displays that the investors of the startup are optimistic about its potential to compete in the share market. It should also be noted that the company’s revenue has increased by 155% during the past year.
