Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML) (OTCQB:RLMLF) has appointed metallurgist and chemical processing specialist Dr Adam Roper as Chief Metallurgist – Critical Metals Extraction, marking a significant step in advancing the company’s gold, antimony and tungsten processing strategy. This appointment aligns with the company’s objective to become a U.S.-aligned partner for processing critical minerals used in defence applications.
Dr Roper will lead the development of an onshore processing pathway for gold, tungsten and antimony from the company’s Horse Heaven Project in Idaho, USA.

Experienced Leader in Complex Metals Processing
A distinguished metallurgist and chemical processing specialist, Dr. Roper brings over a decade of expertise in process development and piloting. He has extensive experience in optimising flowsheets and designing novel extraction methods for strategic and complex metals, backed by a proven track record of managing complex, multi-party initiatives.
With 10 years of end-to-end development experience, Dr. Roper has mastered the processing of diverse materials, including lithium, rare earths, and platinum group metals. His background includes a significant tenure at ANSTO Minerals, where he provided global consultancy on advanced chemical flowsheets for critical minerals.
Additionally, he served as a technical leader for Australia’s largest e-waste processor, where he pioneered resource recovery techniques, managed complex chemistries and minimised environmental waste.
Dr. Roper holds a PhD in Antimony Geochemistry, with a specific focus on the solubility, mobility, and environmental dispersion of the element. This academic expertise is uniquely aligned with RML’s objective to develop modern, high-efficiency antimony processing capabilities.
He has a history of delivering projects within strict budget and timeline constraints.
Driving Downstream Development at Horse Heaven
Dr. Roper will drive the initiatives needed to build an onshore mineral processing pipeline for the Horse Heaven Project. The project’s location in Idaho, near Perpetua Resources’ Stibnite operations, creates opportunities to support the re-establishment of a Western-aligned tungsten and antimony supply chain.

Positioning Within the Emerging U.S. Critical Minerals Ecosystem
The appointment comes at a time when the U.S. military of has confirmed plans to develop small-scale domestic refineries for critical minerals used in defence applications. This move aims to develop domestic sources for niche materials that have been controlled by Chinese miners for long time.
