Highlights

  • King River Resources has released assays from ionic leach soil sampling completed in late 2025 across priority targets.
  • The program aimed at refining geochemical methods beneath Cambrian cover and assist with drill targeting of two geophysical targets - Langrenus and BIF Hill East.
  • Ionic leach results under ~5m of Cambrian cover provide qualitative indicator-element data.
  • BIF Hill East revealed a coherent multi-element signature, suggesting a promising IOCG-style target.
  • Subtle but coherent multi-element trends have been identified at Langrenus and BIF Hill East.

King River Resources Ltd (ASX:KRR) has released assay results and interpretations from its late-2025 ionic leach soil sampling programme. This program is part of a broader study designed to evaluate the most effective geochemical techniques under Cambrian cover and refine drill targets at priority geophysical targets - Langrenus and BIF Hill East.

Due to the nature of ionic leach sampling and the presence of ~5m of Cambrian cover, the significance of the results is based on trace levels of indicator elements rather than strong geochemical anomalies. The findings are not considered material but are regarded as qualitative inputs to be integrated with additional targeting data, highlighted the company update.

BIF Hill East Shows Coherent Multi-Element Signature

At the Rover East Project, the survey at BIF Hill East revealed a coherent multi-element signature, however, interpretation has been complicated by topography and variable cover sequences across the area. This target stretches along strike of the geophysical units that host the Rover and Explorer deposits of the Rover Gold field, featuring a gravity anomaly aligned with a northwest-trending quartz fault system and narrow ironstone outcrops, coincident with an airborne magnetic response. This setting presents a compelling IOCG-style target.

Key mineralisation trace elements included:

  • Au, Cu, Bi, Ag, Mo are present along geochemical trends
  • Gold: 0.05–0.28 ppb, forming a subtle but coherent trend mirroring the structural, geophysical, and geochemical corridor.
  • Weak but consistent trends in Bi, Co, Se, and W along the main structure.

When integrated with geophysical and geological data, these indicator elements and trends are promising, though additional analysis is needed to assess their importance amid variable regolith (outcrop, shallow sands, and Cambrian cover).

Langrenus Trends Support Drill Targeting

At the Tennant East Project's Langrenus prospect, 2024 initial drilling hit significant geochemical anomalies associated with a broad quartz hematite structure.

The 2024 soil programme was designed with close sample spacing to refine drill targeting around these features. Two main geochemical trends were identified: a northern trend aligned with the main gravity feature and enriched in gold, silver, copper and molybdenum, and a southwest trend characterised by iron, bismuth, lead and arsenic. These trends provide multiple geochemical positions to guide future drilling.

In combination with geophysics, drilling, and geological interpretation, the identified indicator elements and trends are encouraging, although further work is needed to determine their significance. Results to date have defined multiple geochemical positions along two main trends that will aid in identifying drill targets.

Barkly Project Reveals Early-Stage Anomalies

Early-stage sampling at EL31623 targeted a favourable east-west airborne magnetic anomaly. The area remains largely unexplored, with reconnaissance identifying shallow cover and ironstone outcrops in the east and increasing cover westward.

Gold, copper, uranium, cobalt, bismuth and silver display trends associated with the magnetic anomaly. Further geological and structural interpretation is required to understand the significance of these early-stage results.

Pathway to 2026 Exploration

The company continues comprehensive review of its exploration tenements, with further drill targets for 2026 expected to be generated as interpretation of geophysical data and 2024/25 drill, rock chip, and soil assay results progresses.

Share Performance Summary

KRR shares traded at AUD 0.02 per share on 12 January 2026. Over the past five days, KRR share price has jumped 66.67%, and the yearly gain stands at 100%.
