Haranga (ASX:HAR) Completes Phase 2 Aircore Drilling at Ibel South Gold Project

Highlights

• Haranga has completed a 3,197m Phase 2 AC program at the Ibel South Gold Project, covering 65 holes.
• The program was designed to extend and confirm mineralisation identified in early 2025, which included high-grade gold hits such as 20m @ 6.54 g/t Au.
• Program provided key geological and structural data to guide deeper RC and diamond drilling planned for early 2026.
• Approximately 3,200 samples collected, with first assays expected before the end of December 2025.

Haranga Resources Limited (ASX:HAR) (FRA:65E0) has completed its Phase 2 aircore (AC) drilling campaign at the Ibel South Gold Project in southeastern Senegal.

The project lies within the Kéniéba Inlier of the Birimian Formation (which hosts 40Moz+ of gold resources mined or under development) and is located ~80km SW of the Sabodala–Massawa Gold Mine (Senegal’s largest producing mine) and 50km south of the Mako Gold Mine, highlighted the company update.

A total of 65 holes, covering 3,197m, were drilled across Lines 5, 6 and 7. Lines 8 and 9 were only partially completed due to swampy terrain at the southern end of Line 8. All drilling activities were finalised efficiently, safely, and within the planned schedule.

The latest campaign follows the initial 2025 AC program, which returned several significant gold intersections. These standout results included 20m at 6.54 g/t gold from 12m (including 4m at 14.64 g/t), 10m at 6.35 g/t gold from 44m (including 6m at 8.55 g/t and ending in mineralisation), and 4m at 14.83 g/t gold from 8m.

Follow-Up to Promising Initial Results

The Phase 2 AC program was designed to position infill lines between the four reconnaissance lines drilled earlier in the year.

The campaign aimed to confirm the lateral continuity of previously identified shallow mineralisation, improve geological and structural interpretations, and test extensions toward the southeast, where topographic depressions indicate potential repeated mineralisation along NNE-oriented corridors.

The program also sought to provide sufficient geological control for deeper RC and diamond drilling, planned for early 2026.

Encouraging Operational Performance

Drilling was conducted by Forage Technique Eau (FTE), the contractor responsible for the earlier 2025 AC program. Operations progressed smoothly with no incidents. The site’s close proximity to a national asphalt road and clear weather, contributed to efficient logistics. Local participation remained a key component of the project, with all field staff recruited from the village of Ibel.

Geological Findings

Every drillhole intersected the characteristic weathering sequence of the Ibel South area, comprising a near-surface laterite layer, a substantial saprolite profile and underlying bedrock consisting of greywacke, clays and black shales. Saprolite thickness reached up to 70 metres in central areas, indicating notable structural or lithological weakening.

Below this zone, drilling encountered greywacke bedrock of the Mako Supergroup, an important host of several regional gold deposits. Geological logging recorded features such as crackle brecciation, fracturing and multiple quartz vein styles, along with alteration types typical of orogenic gold systems, including bleaching, albite and epidote alteration. Numerous holes contained quartz stringers and pyrite-bearing veinlets, with a quartz vein zone 15–20 metres thick intersected across two lines and interpreted as a regional fluid pathway.

Sampling, QAQC and Assays

The company has collected 3,197 one-metre primary samples from the cyclone and transferred directly to the preparation area. Samples were dried, weighed, split and composited into 4m composite samples. QAQC procedures were applied at a rate of one blank, one duplicate and one Certified Reference Material per hole.

Approximately 1,000 samples will be dispatched to SGS laboratory, with the first 200 already delivered. Assays will be carried out at SGS Bamako, with initial results expected before the end of December 2025.

Next Steps

Haranga is now completing sample preparation for shipment to SGS Kédougou while integrating geological logs and field observations to refine the interpretation of mineralisation controls across the project. This work will assist in defining the structural orientation of the mineralised zones and guide prioritisation of targets for the 2026 RC and diamond drilling programs. Results from the Phase 2 AC campaign will be released once laboratory analysis is finalised.
