Highlights
- Review of geophysical and historical exploration data has defined potential for Li-bearing pegmatite host geology at the Tabba Tabba project, which is located in a similar geological setting to Wildcat Resources (ASX:WC8).
- Relict mafic rocks identified at the project lie near the Split Rock Supersuite granite, a source of lithium-bearing pegmatite mineralisation.
- Field reconnaissance work is planned for the project.
Raiden Resources Limited (ASX: RDN DAX: YM4) has completed a review and compilation of geophysical and historical data over its Tabba Tabba Lithium project in Western Australia.
The project may host permissive geological units, which are prospective for lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) mineralisation, suggests the review.
The potential for lithium-bearing pegmatite mineralisation at the project is highlighted by a recent interpretation of geophysical data conducted by Value Adding Resources (VAR) and recent drilling results by ASX-listed Wildcat Resources Ltd (ASX:WC8) for its lithium project. Moreover, ~4km strike length of interpreted mafic rocks sits within the LCT mineralisation ‘goldilocks zone’ of the Split Rocks Supersuite granites.
Raiden is planning for initial field reconnaissance exploration over the Tabba Tabba project. Meanwhile, the company is eyeing drill testing at the defined pegmatite targets across its Andover South project.

More
The Tabba Tabba Lithium Project (E45/6182) is located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The project lies within a comparable geological setting to lithium discovered by ASX-listed Wildcat Resources Ltd (ASX:WC8). The drill results included 85 metres @ 1.1% Li2O from surface at one of the holes.
The recent interpretation of available geophysical data by Value Adding Resources indicated that the rocks underlying the company’s tenure and, which are obscured by shallow transported cover, demonstrate a magnetic signature consistent with relic mafic rocks, with an interpreted strike length of around 4km. These are also close to Split Rock Supersuite granitic rocks.
