BPH holds a 16.3% direct interest in Clean Hydrogen Technologies Corporation, a U.S.-based company pioneering clean hydrogen production. The company is developing a proprietary process for producing clean hydrogen and conductive carbon using unique catalysts and custom engineering systems. These outputs are critical for the global energy transition, playing a key role in in battery manufacturing and low-emission fuel alternatives.

Clean Hydrogen is currently focused on:

  • design, development, production, and testing of a reactor capable of generating a minimum of 3.2 kg and up to 15 kg of hydrogen per hour.
  • submitting at least two new patents in an agreed geography, focusing on the production of hydrogen using its proprietary technology.

Advent Energy Limited and the PEP-11 Permit

BPH holds a 35.8% direct interest in Advent Energy Limited, which fully owns Asset Energy Pty Ltd, the operator of the PEP-11 offshore gas permit in the offshore Sydney Basin.

The PEP-11 joint venture is structured as follows:

  • 85% - Advent Energy
  • 15% - Bounty Oil and Gas NL (ASX:BUY)

On 17 January 2025, the PEP-11 Joint Venture was notified by National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA)that its prior applications were refused, with the permit extended for two months. In response, Asset Energy filed a Federal Court application seeking judicial review of the decision. The matter is scheduled for a two-day hearing on 16–17 September 2025, with interim orders suspending the decision’s operation, keeping PEP-11 active and compliant under current regulatory obligations.

Cortical Dynamics Limited

BPH also holds a 16.4% interest in Cortical Dynamics Limited, a neurotechnology company pioneering advanced brain monitoring systems. Its flagship product, BARM™ (Brain Anaesthesia Response Monitor), is a next-generation EEG-based device aimed at enhancing anaesthetic care during surgeries. BARM™ is further supported by CORDYAN™, a proprietary AI-driven analytics platform that aids in real-time monitoring and decision-making in anaesthesiology.
