BPH holds a 35.8% direct interest in Advent Energy Limited, which fully owns Asset Energy Pty Ltd, the operator of the PEP-11 offshore gas permit in the offshore Sydney Basin.

On 17 January 2025, the PEP-11 Joint Venture was notified by National Offshore Petroleum Titles Administrator (NOPTA)that its prior applications were refused, with the permit extended for two months. In response, Asset Energy filed a Federal Court application seeking judicial review of the decision. The matter is scheduled for a two-day hearing on 16–17 September 2025, with interim orders suspending the decision’s operation, keeping PEP-11 active and compliant under current regulatory obligations.
Cortical Dynamics Limited
BPH also holds a 16.4% interest in Cortical Dynamics Limited, a neurotechnology company pioneering advanced brain monitoring systems.
