Altech Batteries Limited (ASX:ATC) (FRA:A3Y) has announced a share placement of AUD 6 million to accelerate the development of its key battery initiatives. The funds will be used to support a series of ongoing and upcoming activities across the company’s CERENERGY®, AMPower, and Silumina Anodes™ projects.

Placement Details

The placement will comprise the issue of 133,333,334 shares at an issue price of AUD 0.045 per share. Participants will also receive one free attaching option for every two shares issued, with an exercise price of AUD 0.065 and an expiry date of 31 October 2028.

The issue of the shares and options is scheduled for 20 October 2025. As the options represent a new class of listed security, Altech is preparing a prospectus, expected to be finalised in the coming weeks.

The placement is being managed by Alpine Capital and Evolution Capital, with total costs comprising a 6% fee on funds raised and 60,000,000 options issued to the managers.

Use of Funds

The AUD 6 million raised will provide the financial capacity to support near-term milestones across the company’s major energy storage projects.

This includes further trials and potential sales of the company’s UPS battery systems, which are targeted toward critical infrastructure customers in Europe, Australia, and the United States.

In addition, Altech will utilise the proceeds to progress project financing for the 120 MWh CERENERGY® production facility in Germany. The project aims to enable large-scale commercial rollout of the company’s batteries.

A portion of the funds will also be directed toward completing the larger 90 kWh battery prototype for the CERENERGY® project. Altech will further conduct a preliminary assessment for the establishment of a 4 GWh Giga factory to enable large-scale battery production.

These initiatives form part of Altech’s broader objective to progress its CERENERGY®, AMPower, and Silumina Anodes™ projects through key development phases.

ATC shares were trading at AUD 0.049 per share at the time of writing on 14 October 2025.
