EDEM provides drilling equipment and personnel to reduce exploration costs
The collaboration targets critical minerals and phosphate opportunities in Goiás State
Power Minerals (ASX:PNN), listed on the Australian Securities Exchange ASX 300, operates in the critical minerals sector and has announced a new partnership in Brazil. The company has formed a strategic collaboration with Brazilian miner EDEM to support activities at the Santa Anna Project, located in Goiás State.
Brazil-Based Agreement in Critical Minerals
The partnership aims to support exploration at the Santa Anna Project by supplying on-site technical and logistical support. EDEM will contribute drilling equipment and crew resources under cost-reduction terms, enabling Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) to allocate funding toward laboratory and sampling work.
Santa Anna Project and Drilling Operations
As part of the arrangement, auger drilling will be conducted with the involvement of EDEM’s team. This program focuses on key zones identified within the project area. The drilling activities are structured to provide early-stage geological data to inform subsequent project stages.
Division of Exploration Priorities
Under the agreement, Power Minerals (ASX:PNN) will lead exploration on the project’s critical mineral zones. In parallel, EDEM will maintain a focus on the phosphate aspects of the site. This dual-track approach allows both companies to concentrate on specific resource types within the shared project framework.
Broader Collaboration Objectives
The partnership extends beyond immediate exploration, with both companies working to review other assets within EDEM’s portfolio. This includes evaluating further project areas for collaboration in Brazil’s resource-rich regions, aligning with both companies’ operational priorities.
