Tivan (ASX:TVN), operating within the resources sector and a constituent of the ASX 200 index, has finalized the structure of its new leadership team to steer the company's strategic growth, including its joint venture with Sumitomo Corporation at the Speewah Fluorite Project in northern Australia. The reshuffle marks a decisive step in aligning its organizational capabilities with project execution milestones and broader operational objectives.

Internal Promotions Underscore Professional Development

The company’s board has emphasized the importance of nurturing internal talent, reinforcing a commitment to internal progression. This approach reflects the organization's emphasis on cultural continuity and long-term development. Former Chief Financial Officer Jason Giltay will transition into the role of Chief Commercial Officer. Giltay brings extensive experience in corporate finance and business strategy, having served in pivotal roles across companies including Swick Mining Services and Sandfire Resources (ASX:SFR).

Tammie Dixon, previously serving as General Manager in Finance, has been elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Her expertise in financial management across the resources industry and prior success at Capricorn Metals (ASX:CMM) contributes directly to Tivan’s forward-looking financial strategy.

Project Execution Strengthened by Technical Advancements

Michael Christ has been promoted from Project Manager to Project Director. His project management experience spans multiple industries such as oil and gas, water and power generation, and he previously collaborated with Tivan in a client capacity. This appointment reflects the company’s prioritization of comprehensive project delivery.

Brendon Nicol will now lead as Technical Director, progressing from his role as Process Manager. His engineering background and experience with metallurgical testing play a critical role in advancing Tivan’s technical initiatives. Alex Botterill steps into the Process Manager role, continuing the upward mobility within the technical division.

Development and Geological Expertise Enhanced

Ellin Lede has transitioned from Head of Northern Australia to Chief Development Officer. Lede’s background in public policy and strategic advisory roles, including her service with the Northern Territory Chief Minister, supports the company’s development and regional engagement strategies.

Stephen Walsh joins as Chief Geologist, contributing his background from companies such as Glencore (LSE:GLEN), Minerals Resources (ASX:MIN), and OM Manganese. His experience in critical mineral production complements the company’s exploration and development focus.

Further bolstering the team, Michael Fuss has been promoted to Principal Geologist, enhancing geological leadership. Maddalyn McBeath continues in her role as Commercial Manager, reflecting stability in commercial operations.

Leadership Focused on Project Delivery Phase

Executive Chairman Grant Wilson has highlighted the board’s efforts in assembling a high-caliber team. Functional authorities are being delegated to newly appointed leaders to facilitate seamless transition into the project delivery phase. The leadership strategy is designed to support operational resilience and foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence across disciplines.

Tivan’s commitment to nurturing internal talent and aligning leadership with strategic project demands underscores its evolving role in the Australian resources landscape. Through this transformation, the company continues to contribute to the broader objective of advancing critical mineral capabilities across northern Australia.
