Red Hill Minerals Advances Exploration at Anabama Project
Red Hill Minerals Limited has strategically expanded its Anabama Project, part of the Curnamona Earn-In Joint Venture with Spectre Metals Limited, by incorporating the Cronje Dam tenement. This addition extends the prospective Anabama-Redan Shear Zone strike length to over 25 kilometres, reinforcing the company’s dedication to growing its exploration presence in a mineral-rich region.
Located on the Anabama-Redan Shear Zone, a regionally prospective corridor hosting significant copper-gold deposits, the company’s 1,200-metre diamond drilling program aims to test mineralisation continuity along a strong off-hole conductor discovered in previous surveys. This initiative aligns with Red Hill’s broader strategy to unlock the mineral potential of this promising geological setting.
Diamond Drilling Program Specifications
The current diamond drilling program comprises two holes designed to test strike extensions of anomalies identified in prior investigations. The first hole targets a strong off-hole conductor detected by Downhole Electromagnetic (DHEM) surveying of drillhole 25ANDD001, which intersected high-grade copper-gold-silver mineralisation. This hole is planned to reach 700 metres depth, stepping out 150 metres southwest from the conductive plates.
The second hole, with a planned depth of 500 metres, will test along strike of an anomaly from a 20.4 line kilometre Induced Polarisation (IP) survey, positioned 450 metres southwest of drillhole 26ANDD001. Drilling is expected to conclude by late August, with both holes to be cased in PVC for further DHEM surveys to identify additional conductors indicative of mineralisation.
Impact of Previous Drilling Results
Earlier drilling at Anabama has delivered encouraging outcomes. In December 2025, Red Hill completed two diamond drill holes totaling 945.5 metres. Drillhole 25ANDD001 confirmed copper-gold mineralisation at depth within fresh bedrock, including significant assays of 20.0 metres at 0.6% copper, 0.2 grams per tonne gold, and 3.0 grams per tonne silver from 313.1 metres.
These results support the company’s interpretation of continued higher-grade mineralisation at depth and justify further testing of the IP anomaly. The correlation between the IP anomaly and these intersections suggests substantial potential for undiscovered mineralisation beneath the historic drill area.
Exploration Upside from Cronje Dam Tenement
The addition of the Cronje Dam Tenement, secured through the South Australian Government’s competitive Exploration Release Area process, significantly enhances the Anabama Project’s exploration potential. This tenement extends the Anabama-Redan Shear Zone strike within the project to over 25 kilometres, expanding the exploration footprint.
Historical exploration and geophysical data have identified about four kilometres of anomalous bottom-of-hole RAB copper results from prior work by Carpentaria Exploration. The scarcity of deeper drilling beneath historic workings and the main Anabama-Cronje Dam target area presents a compelling opportunity for Red Hill Minerals to discover further mineralisation along this prospective shear zone.
Technical Insights from DHEM Surveys
The DHEM survey on drillhole 25ANDD001 detected two conductive plates aligned along strike with modelled copper mineralisation, providing critical technical guidance for the ongoing drilling. The proximity of new drillhole 26ANDD001 to 25ANDD001 will facilitate high-confidence modelling of subsequent DHEM data over a significant strike length within a key area of the Anabama target.
Red Hill’s technical team is confident that the DHEM survey and modelling indicate significant undiscovered mineralisation beneath the historic drill area, supported by high-grade copper and gold intercepts in the initial drill hole and the newly identified off-hole conductor.
Exploration Strategy and Outlook
Red Hill Minerals’ exploration approach at Anabama focuses on integrating advanced geophysical techniques with strategic tenement acquisitions to unlock regional mineral potential. This includes targeted drilling, comprehensive geophysical surveys, and leveraging historical data to refine exploration targets.
As drilling advances, investors are closely monitoring results that could confirm significant mineralisation along the Anabama-Redan Shear Zone. Positive outcomes may enhance project value and drive further exploration and development in this highly prospective area.
Management’s Optimism on Project Potential
Executive Chairman Joshua Pitt expressed strong optimism regarding the potential for significant undiscovered mineralisation at Anabama. He highlighted the confidence gained from the DHEM survey and modelling, especially considering the high-grade copper and gold intercepted in the initial drill hole.
Pitt emphasized the importance of the newly identified off-hole conductor, which shares a similar dip to known mineralisation and represents an exciting exploration target. This underscores the strategic value of the Anabama Project within Red Hill’s exploration portfolio and the company’s commitment to advancing its efforts in South Australia.
